This is the worst textbook. The cases are barely edited down so you end up reading a lot of unnecessary information. There is no background material setting up each section, which is difficult because it basically requires you buy a supplement to understand anything about the Federal Rules of Evidence. I ended up spending a ridiculous amount of money on the books for this class because the text was so useless. Our professor actually recommended about ten extra sources for us to buy.
It does have the rules in the back of the book so that you don't have to lug a rules supplement around but that is the only perk I saw to this casebook.

This book was supposed to be sent to me between Aug 2 to Aug 17. It is not Aug 27 and I still do not have this book. I ordered it in July. I am in law school and have had to go through the first 2 weeks of school without the book and still dont know when I will receive it!
