Used 7th edition as secondary material for teaching undergrad CrimLaw August 18, 2005 Socratic Law Prof (Virginia) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The layout of the book is user friendly, and the case extracts are concise. I designated it as a reference book for my students and placed it on call in the library for them to review. It can be overly simplistic for an advanced reader, but on target for a good majority of freshman students. Maybe the 8th edition will show some evolution.
Had to have it for class September 14, 2009 CAROLYN LUTHRINGER (WEST VIRGINIA, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had to have this book for class. It did give easy explainations. But, it was the instructor that made the class better.
