great book for CJ major. Very informative but is a bit expensive for how small it is.

This book discusses methods of researching. Some of the techniques of a good research should include methods like attributes, qualitative and quantitative measures. This book can be a little confusing if you are not familiar with this type of research.

4 out of 5 stars Does A Good Job   January 25, 2010

Face it: most college students do not read every single word and page in a textbook.

With such a complex class, I would say this textbook did a fairly good job in providing brief but understandable material. Granted, it might not be the best of methods, but it allows the reader to skim through some parts and read the ever so useful "Main Points" at the end of every chapter. Then, for a fast paced student like me with so many classes, I could just read back on the pages I NEED to read to understand certain concepts.

Have fun researching!
